Darker Sounds presents its latest EP, Ransom Deadline, with five tracks by label artists Oscar Porga, Al.Go, Timao, and Hefty. The EP itself is defined by rolling, mechanical techno tracks punctuated by distant screams and chilling soundscapes.

The first two tracks are minimal, dark productions that are smooth and commanding. Hefty's Repulsive showcases chilling vocals and has a shadowy cinematic mood. The title track, Ransom Deadline, represents the EP with a signature Darker Sounds vibe, hinting at distant alien technology fused with a powerful, raw bass line and a consistent growl.

The EP takes a sinister form in tracks 3-5 and continues the theme of haunting situations and murky landscapes. I Imagine, by Oscar Porga, is defined by brooding, ferocious rumblings and an aggressive, desperate tone. The pace quickens with Al.Go's powerful, epic track Day When The Sky Fell. Fear turns into panic in this rich and energetic techno production. Timao's Modulator rounds out the EP with its lush foundation and invading drums--it is at once hypnotic, confident, and powerful. The result is a surefire Darker Sounds EP ready to deliver a massive charge.
